- Judging Vocal Competitions including the Metropolitan Opera Regionals and Districts, Opera Index, Juilliard Vocal Honors, Palm Beach Opera, Astral Artists, and various foundations including: George London, Licia Albanese/Puccini, Gerda Lissner, Giulio Gari, Loren Zachary.
- Lectures on Opera and Singers including 15 seasons on the Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcasts, on the Opera Quiz, Record Collectors' Roundtables, panel discussions and presenting biographies of great singers; In 2010-11 launched the New York City Opera's "Listening Room" series, with recorded material and discussion for each opera in this season's repertoire.
